What exactly does a house do?

I've been playing for a few days now and I think I've got the general gist of what makes your wellness go up and down. am I right in assuming that a house will make your wellness (is this really the best word they could find?) go up by it's quality every day?

you get five gold when you reach level 6 (iirc) would buying a Q1 house be a wise investment?

I have no idea, but Im new and have played almost a month daily and wanted to buy one too. I have seen them for as cheap as 3.5 gold, or about 130 CADs but hesitate to buy one, because Ontario has a Q5 hospital and I fight everyday.

Is buying a house a good idea???

Especially when I want to be a resistance fighter and move around to start wars.

Does the house stay in your inventory when you move? If I buy a house and move to a war torn region, does the house come with me?

You can check out the Wellness Calculators that are posted around, but essentially the effect of a House and everything else on your daily wellness gain is as follows:

Gain from Food: (1.5 - CurrentWellness/100) * Quality of Food.
Gain from House: (1.5 - CurrentWellness/100) * Quality of House.
Gain from Hospital: Quality of Hospital * 10
Gain from Gifts: Quality of Gift
Gain from Wellness Box: 10 Wellness

Essentially, a House is an extra Food per day, but it is important to note that you must have food in your inventory for the House to give you any wellness. No Food = No Wellness gain from House either.
