Organizations

I reached level 11 and now Plato's trying to tell me to create an organization. I am interested and I still have the 5 gold from before but I have a few questions first.

1. After I create an organization, what is involved in creating companies? And for clarification, you need a company in order to sell a product?

2. I tried to create an organization using the same email as my citizen but it gives me an error saying "Email already in our database". Of course it is, it's my email address, I don't have multiples though I may now.

3. Is there an advantage to starting an organization in different parts of the country? Also, is there a need for organizations in different parts of the country?

1. Gold mostly. Then you need to do a little research to make sure there is demand for the product you are thinking of selling or in the case of raw material, making sure you are in a HIGH productivity region. If you are really thorough you will do extra research to see the average wages being offered in your industry of choice to estimate if there is a profit to be made (yes, all this can get quite involved).

2. You need a new email address for each organization.

3. No advantages.

There's no advantage to starting companies in different regions unless you're raw materials - like AV send make sure you're in a high region (if you're in medium you won't be able to compete).

There are two good reasons to have an Org though.

An Org can run a company with no wellness loss. An individual loses wellness comensurate with the quality of the company they run.

An Org means that you can work as an individual. An individual running a company cannot work as well.

Not only that, but an Org can move regions/countries whereas a company can't. This means that in theory an Org can be in a cheap eRep country for RM and can buy and donate these to your manufacturing company.

There's another advantage to Orgs. If it runs a manufacturing company like Food,Gifts,Moving ticket the ORG can purchase raw materials from anywhere on earth. So you can scour the world for the cheapest prices then buy them and donate them to the company. A company on the other hand can only purchase raw materials (wheat,diamonds,oil,wood) from the country it resides in. This could save you a substantial amount over time.
