Improv Everywhere - We Cause Scenes

Improv Everywhere was started by Charlie Todd in New York, NY. They gather people and they organize pranks secretly and surprise normal people. The people who are park of the prank (Called Agents) gather in a particular place and soon start their wide prank such as Frozen Grand Central, The Moebius, and other pranks located on the site.

I knew about this organization for a few years now and decided to tell this community about it to spread its awesomeness.

Also if anyone asks them what is happening while the prank is occuring they would say something funny or act dumb

The main Improv Everywhere group is in New York City, but you can check if your local city has an 'Improv Everywhere' group here: http://improveverywhere.ning.com/
Just click on local groups and search if your local city is there, and talk with your group about pranks you can do.

No just recently....finished school but my sister isn't so I can't really go anywhere... :s

There are so many better ones than those. I first heard about this last year in may...

they go into abercrombie, 111 guys, and take shirts off on synched time.

they go into best buy manhattan, like 50 of them, wearing blue polos and khakis.

they have a ginger protest at wendys

Oh yeah, I just posted about the ones I like. If you see the video of Grand Central you could see them freeze at the extact same time. And it really does look like their frozen in time.

This is pretty cool, I would rather be wasting my time messing with people's head then watching T.V.

If you see their MP3 Experiment events (that I think happen yearly), all the participants download an MP3 file, and they all sync their clocks and they press play at the same time. In the MP3 there is a voice that tells you what to do. For example if they tell you to follow a person that is not participating. They also have different colors shirts, and they have a battle or game against different colors.

I am subscribed to their chanel and I have been for a while. I really enjoyed the freeze one - thats probably my favourite.

I couldn't do that stuff. I would of been laughing the entire time people were like "What's going on? This is so wierd!".

That's still pretty awesome.

I know, I would laugh too. Especially when someone pokes me or something. Charlie Todd even convinced someone to grab a cellphone from a frozen woman's hand. (The person put it back on her hand)

I convinced one guy to grab a cell phone from a frozen woman’s hand. He did it, laughing uncontrollably as he gently put it back in her hand.
