Re: L4D
I play games older than myself. I remember Lucasart's Glory Days of Adventure games NOT related to Star Wars... I remember Mech Warrior 1 and 2...
I remember Liesure suit Larry, Kings Quest, and the start of QUEENS quest.
I Remember the first Duke Nukem - the side scroller. Shrapnel City. Yes. I remember Duke Nukem's first line EVER: "I'll kick your a$$ and still have time to watch Oprah!"
... I remember when a floppy drive was the latest technology. And I mean the actual floppy discs that could bend, not the 3 and 1/2 inch that you still see occaisonally.
I remember a world before Microsoft. I remember DOS... And just DOS alone...
All and I'm only 20...
CRAZY.

151. Mew.
I've actually seen an actual 5.25" floppy disk (the ones I presume you were talking about) in real life. In fact, there are still some upstairs. Next to my Windows 3.1 computer. You know, the type of computer where you have to turn off the computer manually after shutting down Windows.
I don't think many 14-year-olds can say that.

That is true. You should donate that thing to a museum.

DOS is short for Dorky Operating System.
Basically You'd boot up the screen, and it'd be all black, with nothing but a
C:\ >
waiting for you to type something in.
Then if you were lucky, it'd go all black again, tell you the Matrix Has you, and to follow the white rabbit.
