After talking with Emilio, there shouldn't be a problem with gifting new people as long as they can afford Food as well as the gifts. We'll probably update the requirements shortly, and I might toss together a google form for requesting gifts to try to maintain some of the spirit behind the restrictions.

Alright, I will apply for that the moment I have enough to pay the 15 CAD. I have 3 days worth of food I already purchased prior to knowing all of this so it shouldn't take me long.
