When should I start fighting?
I am a couple of days away from level 5 (21 experience pts). I read that to fight I would need to basically purchase 2 moving tickets which are around 11 CAD each, I would also have to quit my job here and then get a job in the new country (if I stay long enough)... plus I need over 40 wellness which I already have.
So what is my best options; to wait until I get some money saved up for moving tickets and get a much higher wellness (I am currently in the high 40's) or should I wait until I get in the CAF (assuming there is room and I am accepted)? Is it worth it to fight early to get experience points or should I just focus on getting stabilized?
Tips of suggestions are welcomed, thanks.

Re: When should I start fighting?
The main benefit of fighting early and often is the extra boost in Experience Points, which is nice early on, but doesn't really mean much after a while. A problem for eCanada is that if you go overseas to fight constantly and work there, you no longer produce for eCanadian companies. Thing is, the CAF has a lot of highly-skilled workers who are doing exactly the same thing--on the taxpayer's dime, I might add.
My toon hasn't worked in eCanada for a long time. I moved to eSpain because of the strength of the currency and the Gold value of the salary. When I was making fractions of gold playing the monetary market regularly that seemed to suit me just fine. I've been in Romania since I joined the CAF, and their salaries aren't awesome, but they're better than eCanada. I'd recommend overseas fighting/working as soon as you're able, despite the feeling I'm effectively advocating departing eCanada. You can always come back when you want to start a company, or if we start getting training wars.

Thanks Mackaybre, you pretty much summed up what I was assuming. I think I am going to stick around eCanada and get some rapport going with my fellow eCanadians and join a political party and get a bit more involved on that aspect. I can always go fight for a couple of days and come back once I get some more cashola to buy the tickets. Hopefully there will still be wars going on.

Yeah, this is something of a double-edged sword. I want to venture abroad and fight for oppressed countries, but I don't want to abandon the country that gave me life, and nurtures my growth...

Re: When should I start fighting?
Well as luck would have it I was able to fight without needing to quit my job and get a moving ticket and all that jazz thanks to the "Pays-de-la-Loire" battle.
Not sure if this is a training battle or what as I haven't read up on it but I was not only able to get some XP points but also improve my wellness from 55 to 75 and also fight twice.
So if any level 5+ noob is looking for some fighting experience and is over 40 wellness you can fight in that battle... just remember to heal using the hospital afterward. Cheers.

Are you limited to only healing once per day?

...And just read the answer to my own question. Can only heal once per day.
Seems kinda crappy though. I would love to help more in this battle currently going. Just don't do enough damage yet.
Also dismayed to see that my weapon vanished after one use.

Yeah, if weapons didn't vanish after 1 fight, there'd be no industry for producing them at all.

They should be producing weapons and ammo, should be more realistic.
On the topic, I moved in Romania to fight everyday while waiting my application in the CAF. I'm now Sergeant from Corporal in 3 days.
