I understand you receive gold rewards for certain achievements, I think I understand most of them. But do you receive gold for any achievements regarding news papers?
Also, any tips on running a news paper would be great.

Just do your research, pick something interesting and write.

Yes, very few people have it in eRepublik. You can to to "Rankings" and then sort newspapers by their amount of subscribers.

You need to make your paper known internationally. It is impossible to get a single countries population to subscribe to your paper. So you need to make your articles published around the eWorld. The biggest papers publish their articles in many different countries.
