I identify as an atheist, which merely means that I do not believe in God (not that I DO believe in God NOT existing, since that would be affirmative belief), I would never claim to "know" that God doesn't exist, just that I find it unlikely. My stances on spiritual issues, morality and the social impacts of religion are completely separate from my atheism.
